Subject: The Nature of the Soul

The essential characteristics of the Soul are its infinite or eternal nature and its emotional quality of ecstasy. It is something of a quagmire. One could say that the Soul has no beginning and no end, but actually, It is not bound by the three dimensions of this universe and therefore transcends time and space altogether. People who experience the native state of the Soul are at once mesmerized by its cosmic nature, and that nature is something that words have trouble describing. To experience Union of the Soul with God is to know an ecstasy above and beyond this mortal world. Therefore, the Soul has the nature of being both Eternal and Ecstatic.
