"Perhaps it has evaded the Blessed One that there is nothing wrong with the round of birth and death."

Are you saying that life is perfect? If life is not perfect then there must be something wrong with it.

To simply suggest our current existence is all right is not enough. The question is whether or not there exists anything better. A dung beetle may believe that its life is ok, because it knows of no higher existence.

The real question is whether the round of life and death is preferable to the eternal bliss of nirvana.

Foregoing self, the Universe grows "I":
If any teach NIRVANA is to cease,
Say unto such they lie.

If any teach NIRVANA is to live,
Say unto such they err; not knowing this,
Nor what light shines beyond their broken lamps,
Nor lifeless, timeless bliss.

From "The Light of Asia" by Sir Edwin Arnold
