Subject: Jakob Boehme

Jakob Boehme 1575-1624. A poorly educated German cobbler, he wrote some of the deepest works on Gnostic mysticism after a profound experience at the age of 25, when a simple ray of sunlight provoked a vision of the Godhead penetrating all creation.
