I have the Ananda video, and yes they teach the milking process. But they teach also two other practices, including the "Talavya Kriya", which is probably the technique taught by Lahiri Mahasaya. It is not necessary to practice all the three techniques, you may chose one or two of them, as you wish.

By if you are, as you said, "extremely reluctant to follow the Ananda program," so follow Shivanath's advice bellow. Kechari is for strongly determined devotees, for it is often necessary several months even years of daily practice to attain it.

But if you are just curious, buy the video and watch it yourself! Then decide. Do you ask for advices when you REALLY WANT to do something?
