You may be right about the letter not being sent out to all members. I had definitely seen the letter before I found it on the internet, and had assumed that I received it in a general mailing, but perhaps not.

"who is to say that Master hasn't been working through him to provide us with things that SRF selfishly hogs and won't share with us?"

Clearly no-one can make such a metaphysical pronouncement. It would be just as logical to make a statement such as: "Who is to say Yogananda was not working through SRF to stop Walters from distorting his teachings."
