Sri Ananda Mohan Lahiri, grandson of Lahiri Mahasaya from the side of the family of Sri Dukori Lahiri, refers to Lahiri Mahasaya as "Yogavatar" just as Paramahansa Yogananda did. See a footnote in the "Patravali" published by Yoganiketan site:

Commentary of Patravali (documentation page 275): "Munivar Shri Shri Dukauri Lahiri Mahashaya is the youngest son of YOGAVATAR Yogiraj Shri Shri Shayamacharan Lahiri Mahashaya’s."

See also:

"One can hardly do justice in cold words to the life of a divine incarnation," Panchanon Battacharya had once remarked to me. Other close disciples were similarly satisfied to keep the Yogavatar hidden in their hearts as the deathless preceptor." -- Autobiography of a Yogi, chapter 42, page 392.
It seems that even Pachanon Battacharya regarded his guru as a "divine incarnation" or an avatar.
