That is not really the point. I want to know if Flynn told a "barefaced lie" to the court.

The answer of course is that he did not. Such behaviour would be unethical, and may well have resulted in disciplinary action being taken against him. In my opinion such a statement is libellous.

As regards the reporting of the Bertolluci case at anandaanswers and other Ananda sites. If you read that you are left with the impression that the plaitiff simply had a consentual affair with another Ananda member, and poor innocent Kriyananda had nothing to do with it.

The decision of the jury is simply dismissed as a travesty of justice. The fact that several former Ananda members testified against Walters, and the fact that he admitted (at least partially) under oath to his sexual activities is simply ignored or dismissed. According to the Ananda sites the saintly Kriyananda has done no wrong. It is just denial, denial, denial.

I would not trust anything written there which cannot be confirmed from other sources.
