Well, I'm still here...they haven't kicked me out yet :))
It's 5 weeks into the Semester...things are settling in pretty well, although I'm still struggling to stay current with the topics. I'm having fun with the Mormons, both in Pocatello (where it's a bit more liberal) and Idaho Falls (where things are a bit stricter, it seems). Yet I've been well received by most students on both classes...I may have toned down my language a bit, but class content hasn't been altered. I'm enjoying myself.
Thank you to those who replied and to those who have sent me private emails (although delayed, I still plan on answering them privately...soon).
Elizabeth is doing okay in school...although she's finding this 4th grade a bit more challenging than what she was getting in Springfield. We're working a lot with her, especially on those pesky multiplication tables!! It's taking a while, but she'll learn them eventually...we hope.
So, I hope this post finds you well...I miss Oregon and all I became use to while there for 8 years. While I don't miss the rain, I do miss the milder temperatives...although after a very severe cold spell, it's been quite a bit nicer the past couple weeks. Ground snow is almost all gone, but I'm sure Winter in Idaho has more in store for us...oh well, eh?
Post or write privately is you want and can. I'd like to hear what's up over there...especially at LCC.
