I'm having huge problems with my family and my boyfriend. I love my boyfried very very much and I want to have a future with him very much, but my family absoutely hates him with a passion. He is not of the same religion as me, so my parents despise me dating him. I am 19 years old and I want to live my life for me not for my family. I have been dating my boyfriend for a year and 3 months now. I have never had a relationship last this long and I have never had someone care for me the way he does. He is absolutely perfect, except that it would be easier if he was the same religion, but he's not, and I have to deal with it. But do I live and do what my family wants, because I have dissapointed them by being with him and they have taken my car away and my money away, because they are helping me pay for college while I'm away at college, but now they are punishing me for it. I love my boyfriend dearly and want to be with him. I need advice on if I should do what my family wants and just forget about my first and only true love, or if I should do what I want knowing that I can lose my family. Please help! I need it extremely bad!
