If you were British, you would not be very surprised. Indians have been the backbone of the British Army for centuries. It would not be [completely] inaccurate to describe the British Empire as 200,000 Sikhs and Scotsmen with very large guns.

Yes, that was what was interesting. The Scotch-Irish or Scots borders have always been a big part of the U.S. Army. The more things change etc.
