The coin roll is actually all about timing. You must time the move of your fingers right to make the coin roll smoothly.
Just place the coin between the tip of your thumb and the base of your fore finger.
Then push the coin with your thumb on the fore finger and raise your middle finger a bit. Then lower the middle finger and "pull" the coin down and raise the index finger and again pull the coin down. now raise the pinky and and hold the coin between the index finger and the pinky. Now take your thumb and slide it under the fingers and take the coin and bring it back to front and start again.
