Fanning tips: Deck placement in the hand is the most important thing. Preassure fans wear your cards faster. Bevel the cards slightly in the direction of the fan. Fanning powder does wonders. Steady even preassure . As full a circle as you can describe. Jean Hugard's expert card technique is helpful. Fanning is all about practise and is very personal to your own hands. Also more important than the fan is the one handed closing of the fan. As always, practise.
