Subject: Single-Axis Golf

I am using the BGG method to play golf, those clubs tend to be longer than normal by 1.5 inches, or so. Can the 1IRONGOLF irons be manufactured to accomodate this configuration?

Not necessary to have longer clubs for any of those swings, BGG, HSS, Graves, NG, SimpleSwing etc.

Jesse,

Pat is correct. Regardless of the swing method used, at impact the golfer will be in exactly the same position. Therefore, once a golfer is fitted for golf clubs based upon this impact position it makes no difference what golfing method or swing is used.

By the way, based upon your fitting specifications and the relationship of our lie angles to conventional irons, your 1 Iron club length is 1" to 1.5" over standard length.

Tom Sanders, owner of BGG never recommends clubs any longer then what would normally fit you, there is no more upright lie, or length then normal.

Jesse,

I have a set of 1-irons (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, PW, SW) that I'm planning to sell, but haven't gotten around to putting them on eBay yet. e-mail me if you are interested. I think we have done business with each other before.

I play a single axis swing tought by graves brothers for almost 2 years. Have been using 1Irons for 6 months as measured using David's formula. No adjustment needed in my experience or understanding.
