Subject: All practice tips and ideas are welcome

Hey,
I just received my 1iron irons and they look great. I am heading to the range for the first time with them today. I read the playablilty tips and they were helpful but I am just looking for some feedback about practicing and making the transition. Seems to me I should be able to take one club and learn to groove it and that should translate to all the other irons. Any and all thoughts and tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!!!

I go to the range twice a week in the spring and once a week in the summer and only take my #3 iron and driver. David Lake has posted somewhere that there's no sense in taking any other iron because they're all the same. And if you practice with just the #3 iron you'll actually hit all the rest of your irons better.

I purchased my 1Irons over the winter. I took my whole set to the indoor driving range(a bubble) to try out the theory that Mr.Lake claims. I must admit that I did improve my ball striking. However I decided that hitting range balls into a 100 yard net was not reason enough to declare these clubs "game improvement"! The proof becomes reality once you actually get out to the range. I followed the playability tips and did not try to compare my old set of Callaway's to the 1 Irons. I was blown away by the results. The key is to take your #3 iron to the range a couple of times and begin to develop your swing.
