Just out of curiosity, How were thos 270+ yards measured? I am confused. I swing 105MPH with a driver and dont break 260 yards? I am a 1iron follower, but do not understand the great distances those with the new driver are getting?

I have the older 1iron driver I can hit about 245 carry.
But I just cant see the new driver doing those great distances. Can somone please explain to me how is it possible. thank you pedro

Pedro,

We have sold over 250 of our new Titanium Drivers since it was first offered in November. Obviously not everyone can hit the ball 270+ yards, but the emails that we have received show that our customers are hitting this driver farther than their previous driver with a definite increase in control/accuracy. Three of my neighbors (who are big hitters), routinely hit this driver 285+, and I average 270yds (carry) with a 112mph swing speed (these are measured drives). The difference between our new driver and our previous steel driver is the spring affect produced by the titanium clubface which translates into additional distance.

David, do slower swings get extra distance from the "spring affect" of your titanium driver as well? Or do you need a fast swing to get any noticeable distance improvement from this spring thing?

Ditto to what Pedro said :-)

Robert,

The spring affect inhernet in a titanium clubface adds distance with slower as well as faster swing speeds.

David
