Subject: 1 Irons

I've had my 1 Irons (3 iron through LW) since the beginning of December and have played 7 rounds of golf with them. I'm like a lot of other posters in that my decision to try the irons was largely due to the 30-day return period that no other golf company seems to offer. I now know why 1 Iron Golf has a return policy when no other company does - after playing them nobody ever returns the clubs. I know this sounds like every other poster on this forum, but these clubs are truly the greatest thing since sliced bread. All of us are looking for that magic pill that makes us a better golfer overnight and I will honestly tell you that my search is over. The scores I've been shooting have been scary: 92 average before the 1 Irons, since then I've shot 88, 88, 86, 85, 83, 83, and 83. What's really scary is that I know that these scores will go down even further this spring.

I got my 1 Irons three weeks ago and have been shooting lights out golf ever since. From the first time I picked them up I knew that they were the clubs I've been searching for all these years. "Magic Pill" is an understatement because these clubs seem to hit themselves - long and straight. I have flatly never played irons or woods that were so easy to hit!!! When 1 Iron Golf states: "The Best Kept Secret In Golf", they aren't kidding.

I have to agree fellas, I have had mine about 6 mnths and haven't played much golf, but shot 79 for the first time last week and followed that up with an 80. My iron play is awesome now thanks to these clubs. To be able to hit 3 and 4 irons high, long and straight is almost hard to believe, in fact when I tell those playing with me that I just hit a 3 iron, they look at me like I am lying - haha.
It may sound like an ad, but like those who have already posted, these are real life examples from average golfers who don't get a single thing for posting replies. It's just that these clubs are that good.
To be fair, I have not mastered the woods yet.

I'll put a plug in for the steel driver. I'm saving up for the Titanium one. Since getting the steel driver last Christmas, I've become a fairway hitting machine. My last 18 I hit 11 of 14. I'm generally the longest in my group as well. Once in the fairway the irons are even MORE consistent. Love my clubs. Thanks, David!!

I guess there's a lot of us out there who changed their games completely after switching to 1 Irons. My own experience has been a tremendous improvement in my ball striking along with a huge increase in accuracy and distance. My scores have dropped considerably in the three months I've had these clubs (both fairway woods and irons), plus I purchased the titanium driver in November and love it. If anybody is considering adding a hybrid club to their bag I'd strongly suggest they try the 1 Iron #7 wood because it beats any hybrid I've ever tried hands down.

I agree with you about the 1 Iron #7 wood being the best hybrid type club on the market. I use it numerous times every round that I play. Even if you don't normally play woods you should have one in your bag.

This is starting to become redundant but I'll add my 2 cents anyway. I'd never broken 90 before getting my 1 Irons and since then I've never shot higher than an 89. Nuff said.

I followed the 1 Iron Golf website for six months and read and re-read all of the posts in the current forum and archives before I ordered my set. I'm 65 years young and was concerned about 1 Irons not having a graphite shaft option. After speaking on the phone with David Lake (greatest customer service I've ever experienced), and him explaining to me the many advantages of their shafting technique over all the others in the golf industry, I placed my order for the combo woods and irons set. It turned out just as David had explained to me - I've never felt any vibration or shock with these clubs. As a matter of fact I'd put these steel shafted clubs up against any graphite shafted clubs as far as comfort is concerned.

My distances have gone up with every club and the accuracy is phenomenal. I ordered the rest of the irons: 3,4, GW, SW, and LW a month after my first order and ordered the titanium driver and 3 wood two weeks after that. I've never played better golf and am really enjoying the game more than ever.
