Just browsing around the web for custom clubs to get an idea of what else is out there, and came across this at the Innovex custom clubs questionnaire page:

"What clubs do you prefer have graphite shafts? Note: Shaft type has no effect on accuracy or distance."

Huh? No effect? Then why would there be a choice, why would it matter??

The more I read, the more I believe David, that golf manufacturers do what they do "just because".
