john,
I had the same problems at first, after you hit your irons for a while, your confidence should really improve. I really can take a full hard swing with my irons now, and when I hit the sweet spot which is almost always now, then my distance and accuracy both improve.

Thanks Ed. I just got back from playing 9 holes (in the drizzle) because I was dying to see how these clubs perform on a course I play a lot.

I hit the 3 iron twice - the second time was on a 185 yard par-3. Hit a low draw (would have liked it to be higher) pin-high but into a bunker on the right of the green.

Hit the 8, 9 and PW several times each. I really like these - very high trajectory, and extremely accurate. I hit them 8-10 yards longer than my Callaway X-20s, but think I'll adjust quickly.

These clubs set up beautifully and I have to say, they feel so very well balanced throughout the swing.

Can't wait until I can play them again. So far, so good.

john,
david's golf shafts are designed for a higher ball flight, that is also why I like them so much. If I am hitting into the wind, I simply take 1 more club, or as many as I need depending on how strong the wind is. I have so much more confidence now at address, same ball position, same spine position, everything is so much simpler now. I have played 4 times this year, and my first 4 scores are already lower than last years league handicap. I learn more each year using his clubs. good luck, ed
