Thanks Roy. It sure sounds like the 1 irons work very well. I had a friend take my WTF measurement. Played today and hit my irons pretty good. At times I hit my irons real well but not often enough for my liking. Do you get the appropriate distance out of your 3, 4 and 5 1-irons?

Jim,

I hit my 1 Iron Golf #3 iron about 5 yards farther than my old Ping #3 iron and 100% more consistently. My 1 Irons are the length of my old Ping #9 iron.

Thanks Fred. I think all of you have answered my questions very well.

Jim: I am a slow learner and still have not realized the full potential of my 3,4 and 5 1-Irons. I'm finding that the more I practice with them, the more "grooved" my swing becomes. That said, I still hit them much, much better than my old long irons (which I finally just gave up on). My distance is good, and the yardage gaps are becoming consistant with all of the 1-Irons. It just takes time and patience, but you will soon be there - just keep practicing often. Have a great day and hit 'em straight! R2
