Re: trajectory -- Jim Benjamin, 08:38:07 06/16/10 Wed
David,
Should the loft and lie of the 1 irons be checked periodically? Could they change after use for a long time?
The way I understand trajectory is if the center of gravity is lower in the club head and there is sufficient weight in that area the ball will launch higher. Also, as David mentions shafts can be tipped to produce a kick point that will aid in achieving a higher trajectory as well. To me the 1 irons are perfect. By utilizing the positioning of clubhead weight, clubhead design and shaft utilization David has produced the straightest clubs in the industry. In my opinion he's up there with Karsten Solheim.
Jim
