I bought a set of single length irons from "One Iron" and at first had the following experience: All clubs produced a very high ball flight and were one to two clubs shorter in distance. After about a month of continuous use of these clubs I began hitting them much farther than my old standard type clubs. Probably because I became used to playing the ball in the center of my stance with all clubs.

Now my only problem is believing how much farther the ball will fly with each club. Nice problem to have. Still working on it but, right now I fly the ball between 10 and 15 yards more with each club progression and the ball flies very high and stops within two yards of its landing spot (for the 5 thru Lob Wedge).

It took awhile, but I have never felt so confident swinging an iron before. I am 68 years old. Have been playing since I was 18 and this is the first time I have experienced progress like this on an every-day basis.

During my adjustment period I talked to David Lake by phone several times. He has been very helpful getting me past several of my "sticking points".
