Subject: Black Friday
While my wife spent all day fighting the crowds on Black Friday buying Christmas presents I placed an order for a full set of 1 Irons. I've been following the site for over five months after I saw the improvement in one of my friends game after he bought a set. I guess that I'm the kind of guy who needs a lot of convincing to try something new even though it just makes too much sense.
I'm very excited and can't wait to get my new clubs. The Playability Tips were emailed to me within two hours of placing my order and they've got me even more excited. I'll post my day-to-day results once I've got them in my hands.

Got my clubs today and they look fantastic. These are solidly built quality clubs and feel great - you can really feel the precise balance. They're the same length as my old #9 iron which was my favorite club, but these just feel much better. I love the grips.
I'm going to the range tomorrow and will report back then.

I've been to the range every day since receiving my 1 Irons. The first couple of trips were uneventful, but then again, the Playability Tips said they would be until you start getting used to using only one swing with all the clubs. This began to take hold on my third range trip and by the fifth I was hitting the ball farther than ever and straight down the pike. I've easily picked up an extra 5 yards per club but the most amazing thing is how accurate and forgiving these clubs are. Yesterday I decided to count how many miss-hits I had out of an 80 ball bucket and I came up with only 2.
These are easily the best clubs I've ever played and I'm here to say that opposed to popular belief you can buy a better game of golf.
David Lake's latest SwingTips Newsletter is right on the money. After my buddies saw how I'm hitting the ball a couple of them ordered sets.

I know you haven't had your clubs very long. My question is:
Have you noticed any loss of distance with your 3-4-or 5 irons, or any others

I've picked up extra distance with all of the clubs over my old set. The biggest thing with the 3,4, and 5 irons is that I never miss-hit them. Also I've found the trajectory with those clubs is much higher and more controllable. One thing I've found is that I have the same yardage gap between all the irons in the set. In my old set I'd have anywhere between 5 and 10 yard gaps between irons and now I have 10 yards right on the nose.

Are you liking the 1 irons better than anything you have played? How long have you played? What is your handicap? Intermediate or advanced player? Would you recommend these to me- and what did you order?

You couldn't pay me to switch clubs. The 1 Irons are by far the best I have ever played in my 30 years of golfing and I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to improve their game. I got the driver, 3 wood, and all the irons through the wedges. I currently play to a 10 handicap but I know this will go down over the next year.

Update:
I shot the two best rounds of my life on consecutive days last week: 75 and 74. I couldn't have dreamed that switching clubs could make so much of a difference in my game.
