Mike:

I would have to agree with Eddie. If you are comfortable with your wedges, I wouldn't necessarily want to mess with that. David may have a better take. As for me, I was already using the Lovett for bunkers, and that was the only wedge I had besides Pitching. I went ahead and got all of David's, especially since the Sand wedge only has 6 degees of bounce. That way I can develop a good coverage for all distances. I'm just working on that part of my game. Good luck. Perhaps David will chime in.

Mike, I have bought 2 sets of irons from david, a couple yrs. ago, I had sw and pw then up to 3 iron, I now have added a gw, and lw, I have taken my 3 iron out of the bag, I also have his 5 wood and 3 wood. the 5 wood I can use where I would of used the 3 iron, so I am not giving up much. I just got used to the clubs all being the same length and swingweight, for me its in my head that I am using the best clubs ever built, so I dont want to use anything else. I shot a 37 in the club championship using davids 40.5" driver. I was hitting that club about 250 yards, or a little more, and my worst drive was 3 feet in the rough on 1 hole. But where I really cut my strokes was with my wedges, anything under 100 yards, I feel like Ihave all the clubs I need to score well with. My handicap hovers around 14 for 18 holes too. My last 2 rounds of the year were back to back 39's just before snow started flying in northern michigan. It took me a lot of work, and getting used to his equipment, but once its dialed in, I dont think theres a better set of clubs anywhere,,,,,,good luck,,,ed
