According to 1 Iron Golf they refuse to pay endorsement contracts to pros because they feel it's a bought and paid for advertisement and misleading (lie), to the consumer. I've noticed a number of pros on all the tours using clubs that appear to be the same length and assume they are following 1 Iron's principles. David Lake did state that this summer a pro on the Nationwide tour will be playing the 1 Irons even though 1 Iron Golf won't be paying him an endorsement fee.

Henry Cotton used single length clubs like this to win 3 British Open titles and a lot of other tournaments.
