When I went to the 1-Irons I got all the wedges in addition to all the irons. Now that I've become fully comfortable with the single length irons and have dropped a lot of strokes off my scores I can't even imagine playing with wedges that were shorter than the rest of my irons. I can make any shot around the green much better with the 1-Iron wedges than I ever could with my old set. Per David's book I don't choke down on any club for any shot and my percentage of ups and ins has gone up dramatically.

My short game and sand play has improved 100% with the 1 Iron Golf wedges. From a consistency standpoint it does'nt make sense to have irons that are different lengths, not to mention different weights and so on. If your wedges are different from the rest of your irons then whenever you have to make a full shot with them you have to use a different swing and ball position than you do with the rest of the irons. I go with 1 Iron's philosophy of keeping everything the same no matter if you're hitting a full shot, a short pitch shot, or a chip.
