There was no pressure to buy, also, his wedges cost $140 each!

But, the execution of a 20 yd flop was almost impossible with a 37.5" LW. Best I could do was 35 yds. I grabbed their wedge 34.5" and hit it 22 yds...... So I don't believe it was a "SYSTEM" issue.

I will need to address this problem with my golf club set make-up.

Unfortunatly most of us golfers feel we need to control everything about our game. Always needing to change grips, adjust our clubs, make them shorter make them longer. The biggest key to golf other than don't let it make you mental is to work with what you have. Golfers of days gone by used clubs far inferior to what we have with as good if not better results. If you watch the old Bobby Jones shows, they have the same complaints we all have today about our game, our equipment etc. While I don't have Davids wedges I have made my wedges (Snake Eyes 600wb forged) the same length as my 1irons and have no trubs with shorter flops at a practice facility. I just don't try that shot much on a course as there is a good chance I'd skull the ball through another players skull acroos the green. Like your driver Jesse work with these a while. You may also find if you really like them, Pelzs wedges on Ebay for a much better price. Good Luck.

good advice pat, I dont have much trouble hitting flop shots with my 36.5 inch lob wedge, it has to be sitting just right before I will try a flop shot with any length club. Jesse, I dont know what your handicap is, but I would definitely practice more with your 1 iron lob wedge before giving up. I can choke down on the shaft if I have to, but I generally just stand more upright with a longer club. good luck either way,,,,,,ed

Yeah guys:

I don't understand how need for shorter club length could be a problem. Why not just choke down for touch shots? I chip great from the metal and choke down on 7 and 8 irons for low running pitches. Keep in mind, however, my wedge game is far from great. Just wondering.
