Subject: New Clubs?

In July 2003, I purchased a set of 1 iron clubs. The irons have the CER 701u head and the CER woods are red. I believe the driver is 42" with a 10.5 degree loft.

I have had excellent success playing with these clubs. I believe that if I start playing regularly, my index will continue to improve.

I am thinking about the new 1 iron clubs with their enhanced consistentcy and technology. Can anyone comment on the comparison of the older models to the new clubs? I am interested in hearing about the irons, woods and driver.

Thanks, Jerry

I have a combo of new and old, 3-7i CER's and Driver, 3w,5w,7w and 8-pw of the new 1Irons. I prefer the new woods to the old woods and the new irons to the old. Last year I had the 3-7i new irons and the 8-pw old ones believe it or not, but it is a strange and twisty tale so I can compare all the new and old. You won't be disappointed in the new ones. But there is nothing wrong with the old either. Pat

I've had both sets and like the 1 Irons much better even though the CERs were far better than any other club I'd played prior to that.

I have both sets, but I like hitting the 11 wood CER (28*) rather than the new 5 iron. The 7 woods, the same. I am having trouble with both 3 and 5 woods... Its me, don't try to kill it, swing softly,or naturally, or whatever,BUT NOT HARD!!! I like the CER Driver, a large head, but as above I'm not relaxing and maybe the new driver will produce... NEED MORE PRACTISE!!!
