Thankyou very much for your help, the iron play is comeing along nicely, the woods progress is slow but improveing, on the last hole I hit the 3 wood 244 onto the green, Im
still trying to figure what I did right, thanks again, do you use the 1 wood?

Terry,

You need to delete the old message in the "type your message here" box before you add a reply to keep it cleaner. I have the #1 wood and hit it great but I position the ball off my left heel and tee it up so that the ball is in the center of the clubface. I'm especially conscious of not swaying during the swing with the #1 wood because it will cause you all kinds of trouble with any driver.

Working like mad to get the best out of the clubs, although I have bought the 1,3,5,7, woods and the 5,6,7,8,9,pw,sw, I will order the 4,3, irons so I can really mix it up, the links courses here are not for the faint hearted so it pays to keep the ball flight a bit lower sometimes, take care, Terry
