Subject: Three New PB's

So golf opened at a few courses this past week. Went south to a course near Orillia and shot a 79, a pb for me there. Not that easy a course. Thursday went out and played a par 37 9 hole in Mattawa. Played an 88 with a 46 on the front and a 42 on the second round, just felt I really struggled with the swing. Yesterday I played a nasty executive course in the moning I have never done better than 69 on. It is a par 56. Played two balls a Top Flite Infinity Absolutely Straight and shot a 65, with a Top Flite Infintiy Buttery Feel I shot a 68. Two pb's in the morning. In the afternoon the back 9 of my home course Osprey Links opened so out I go and do the same thing. Ball 1 was a Buttery Feel and I shot a 45, ball 2 was an Absolutely Straight and I shot a 36 with it. So 11 over for what it's worth. The back nine is a par 35 as there are 3 par 3's on it. The course is 6006 yds from the whites, which I played with a 68.8 rating and 125 slope. I guess the difference is that is was very windy and my shots with the second ball were more zeroed in for distance and direction after seeing what the first ball did. I only brought out the 3w and 5w in the new 1irons and played 4-7 Cer 1irons and 8-pw new 1irons, plus my SE Forged wedges. In the morning I hit the pin on 1 par three, in the afternoon I had birdie putts on all 3 par 3's with the second ball. Anyway looking forward to the front opening as well and playing a full 18 with 1 ball. The shots were the best ever.

>good job pat, I had a couple rounds of mid 40's this year, mostly a couple bad chips and putts. I went back to my old putting style, and yesterday I shot a 41 with a double bogey and bogey, day before was a 38, and 39 before that. I am still using davids driver he built the same length as my fairway woods. It just seems to fit me better, and I have more confidence in its direction off the tee. I hit a 280 yard drive with it the other day, with wind at my back. usually I am hitting it 260 to 270. I really cant believe how easy it is to play golf now with his equipment,,,,,,hit em straight,,,,ed

Remember folks two years ago I was starting the season with a +25 handicap, now my index is +10.37. My first round this year was a sub 80 (79 at Bonaire in Coldwater, Ontario). My goal is to be a single digit handicaper this year. Of course taking a 10 Vipassana meditation course doesn't hurt either. Pat
