Niels,

If you are playing the SW from the fairway you would use a center of stance ball position. If you are playing it from the sand you would use the same forward ball position you would use with any SW from the sand. When hitting out of the sand you are purposely trying to hit a fat shot so you should make contact with the sand in the center of your stance.
