I beg to differ, but according to the My Ostrich Golf website along with many posts to both the Graves Brothers Golf Accademy website and the Natural Golf website, Moe Norman did play single-length irons all during his competitive career. I have seen this posted to a lot of golf forums across the internet, and even by one poster who caddied for Moe Norman in the 1970's.

Well the golf company is a competitor of David Lakes in making single length clubs so I think there is room to be skeptical. I dont belive a thing Natural golf claims they can't even figure out what they are trying to teach as they keep changing the instruction. Have not been to the graves site in a while but the last time i was they pretty much said what i have. That may have changed and again i am not saying he didn't try the concept I just don't agree with the statement that He played them his entire competive years.
Please do not take this to be critical of 1 irons. I think its a great concept and as soon as I can afford new clubs again I will be giving them a try.

Take a look at this picture and you'll notice that Moe Norman's irons are sticking out of his bag at the same length and his fairway woods are sticking out at the same length: http://moenormangolfacademy.org/moesroom/images/moe9.jpg

It looks like my bag filled with my 1 Iron woods and irons.

Hmm, I don't see that, I see his had over a fw wood by the looks of it and maybe his driver beside it. But the irons from what I see below look the same. Cheers

Yeh, I still don't see much of a difference, except maybe some of the irons aren't pushed all the way to the bottom of the bag.

When Tommy Armour came out with their EQLs in the '80s their brochure stated that Moe Norman used single-length clubs all during his playing career. I had a set of EQLs along with the brochure so I know it for a fact. Henry Cotton also played them to win all of his tournaments.
