Subject: WOW What a day! My son calls from the wing of USAir 1549 and my clubs ship

At 3:45 EST, my son calls me from the wing of USAir 1549 and tells me is cold but fine. I hadn't even heard of the crash.
I've talked to him several times and the phone has been buzzing (and emails flying) from relatives since then.
At 7:30 I receive a tracking number from FedEx for my new clubs that I ordered on Tuesday morning.
Can life get any better?

What a blessing that your son is alive. I am glad for you. Many times we don't realize what we have. And just the opportunity to take some time out and go play golf without major problems of life facing us is a blessing. I used to get so mad when playing golf, but things like this help me to realize where I need to place my priorities. I don't yet have the 1-Iron set, but I am contemplating purchasing them. What a joy to that you heard from your son so soon after the accident and to know that he was well.
