Your reply was most helpful. I place the ball forward when using the driver. I will try out the centre position you suggest at the range.

I have noted a higher trajectory with your driver. I suspect that is due to the higher loft (12 degrees). I wonder if the undoubtedly straighter trajectory is due to the greater backspin on the ball.

My problem with my 10.5 degree Taylormade driver is a tendency to slice. Is this because there is less backspin and therefore any sidespin effect is accentuated?

I really like your driver and feel I have a lot more control. I certainly enjoy being on the fairway for most tee shots but am frustrated by the 30 yard distance loss. Maybe your suggestion of a lower tee and center position will help.

I am otherwise delighted with the 1 iron clubs. I am 56 years old and have recently broken 80 for the first time. I never thought it would happen and I give the credit to your wonderful clubs.

Thanks for the advice I will do exactly what you said and hopefully make some improvements. I have always believed in the approach of exageration when making swing changes, it has served me very well so far. Should I start by putting the ball a little bit behind center and tee it lower to start with? I will work on this the next time I am at the range. Thanks for the advice and I will let you know how it goes. Besides my driver I could not be happier with how I am hitting the clubs.

Give the exageration a try if you have had success before. To me it sound as if you will be taking a step backward in order to take two steps forward (not literally or course). The exageration may need to take place between the ears, what I mean is make your mind TRUST that the club is designed a certain way and that if you swing the way the club is designed, then it will work immediately. By exagerating in the wrong way, you are just tricking your mind, but could make bad habits that you will inevitably have to change again.

Thanks Charlie I will give it a try. Want to know whats great about these clubs. I went out today and shot an 81 without even using my driver one time. Ball striking is absolutely amazing and just think I started playing golf for the first time little over year ago and in January I was shooting high 90's. Can't give all the credit to these clubs because I practice 40+hours a week and 80% of that is short game but these clubs are amazingly good.
