Subject: Can't buy a game

I'm you're typical "buy a game" kind of guy and over the past ten years I've owned sets of Callaways, Pings, Nike, and Titliest golf clubs with no improvement in my game from set to set. About a year ago I ran across the 1 Iron Golf website and became convinced that to improve my level of play I had to eliminate as many of the variables as possible and work on one swing. At first I bought the Wood/Iron combo set plus the driver but within a month I owned every club that 1 Iron Golf sells.

I spent the first couple of weeks at the range alternating between iron days, fairway wood days, and driver days. Once I got used to the feel of the clubs and replaced all my old bad habits with the 1 Iron Golf swing instruction I started hitting the ball better than I ever thought I could do. Crisp clean ball striking with every iron and wood and 5 to 10 yards farther than I ever hit any golf clubs. I literally kill the driver.

One year ago I was shooting in the mid 90's and today I'm shooting consistently in the mid 70's with an occasional high 60's round. I owe all of this to practice and my 1 Irons. Even though I'll go on record as stating that the 1 Irons are the best clubs ever made and I'll never go back to regular clubs again, you still have to devote time to practice. If you're not willing to do this then take up another sport because I'm living proof that you can't just go out and buy a game.

I'm the same kind of guy and after spending a fortune on advertising crap with the big name brands I've found that my only improvement came after playing my 1-Irons. Practice makes perfect.

Amen to all said. If your equipment fits you it's up to your performance. With 1Irons you simply have the advantage of well made clubs with which you have one swing plane. Absolutely the best chance for consistency. The rest is up to you. Practice and enjoy the clubs.

Couldn't agree more.
