Subject: basic question

The theory on your site makes perfect sense . However , As far as the shaft length goes, if length does not matter or does not increase distance, why do all of the long drive competitors use those ridiculously long shafts?

Also , do you have a chart as to the loft of your clubs and if purchased can i have the lofts adjusted to my specs and can i have shafts of my choosing installed?

thanks

Rick,

Club length within the normal parameters of golf club design has no affect on distance. However, if you add an extra foot to the length of a driver shaft you have the potential of gaining additional distance. The problem is that a driver of that length would be virtually impossible to hit with any consistency unless you practiced with only that club every single day like the pro long-drive champions do. What you have to remember is that a long-drive competition is an exercise unto itself and is certainly not golf.

Our golf club specifications are shown on our website here: http://www.1irongolf.com/index_files/page0007.htm

These specifications along with our proprietary shafts and shafting method form a balanced system that produces the ultimate in consistent ball striking. Any alteration or change will result in a negative impact, so therefore, we will not alter these specs.
