Subject: ball in middle

Well, when I first tried my 1 iron clubs, I put the ball off my left heel with my fairway woods......but, I MADE myself do exactly what David suggested....I play the ball IN THE MIDDLE(except the driver)....and just nick the ground with the club during my swing.....the ball just gets in the way.....this way, every swing is the same with all of my irons and fairway woods.......This really works...I promise.....this makes you "pinch" the ball off the turf.....it may take a few trips to the range...also, don't swing so hard....you can swing fast without swinging hard...

Trung,

Very well said. I know that it is hard for golfers to accept the notion of one ball position and one swing for all of the irons and fairway woods after years of playing golf with standard length clubs. However, 1 Iron Golf clubs are designed for the use of a single ball position, swing posture, and swing plane throughout the set of golf clubs.
