Subject: My 1 Iron Golf Club review

After six months of pondering, reading posts and reviews etc. of David Lake's 1 Iron clubs, I finally ordered my set on May 31st, and received them in three days. I purchased the 3 thru PW, along with the SW, GW and LW. Took them to the range as advised and did some serious practicing with the clubs. I must admit that after two or three days I really wasn't that impressed. But I realized that my old habits were hard to get rid of, so I just kept on plugging away until the "light" came on!

In the past I have always hit my short irons the best, and always had problems with and woods. Even hybrids were terrible for me. I've been using the new clubs for over a month now, and I must say I'm extremely happy with my progress.

My current bag set-up consists of 3 iron thru Lob Wedge (11 irons), my driver, a 3 wood, and my putter. To be honest, I am still not consistant with the three wood, but using some course strategy and those wonderful 3 & 4 irons, I can get the job done.

It is so nice to have one stance, one ball position, and one swing! Accuracy is what its all about, and I LIKE it.

By the way....all the guys I play with saw the new clubs and after I told them (and showed them) they are all the same length, they all laughed and said that shorter clubs would never give me any distance. Well, after playing a few weeks in our league -- they guit the laughter and started asking all kinds of questions.

To be perfectly honest, I usually don't review any company's clubs - but David's system is a huge winner for me.

David, job well done!
