Subject: New Customer

I received my 1 iron golf clubs four days ago. I have always wondered why my golf clubs were different lenghts and I assumed it was for distance control. After seeing the ad in my golf magazine I decided to try the single lenght clubs. I can not believe how much better I am hitting these clubs. It is taking some adjustment to use the same swing with each club and my distances are not as good as normal. I checked the lofts against my taylormade CGB's and the taylormades are about one club loft stronger across the set so that explained the difference in distance. One thing that is different is I am hitting the fairway much more often than normal. I am however having some trouble ajusting to the LW and the three iron. I am very impressed with the build quality and can not wait to get the woods I just ordered yesterday.

Tim,

It takes time to become fully comfortable with using the same swing with all of your irons. It is just a natural tendency to try and swing harder with the #3 iron than the other clubs but this will correct itself over time. The same is true with the LW as it is the natural tendency to try and scoop the ball with this high-lofted iron. Again, this will correct itself over time and you will learn to hit down on the ball as you do with the rest of the irons within the set. The key is to use exactly the same swing, ball position, etc. with all of the irons.

David Lake
