I scored a new personal best on the Incline Mountain Course (Par 58 Executive Course). I shot a 66 or 8 over par yesterday with no mulligans or "do-overs" and no improvement of lies (god forbid).

I crushed my regular playing opponent by at least 6 strokes. I say "at least" because he was taking several mulligans and other creative scoring techniques that I could not track his actual score.

The high light of the round was missing a hole in one on the short par 3 15th hole by ONE INCH! My back nine was outstanding and I was only two over par for 10 through 18.

On the front nine I was only three over going into number 8 but had a triple bogie on this difficult 200 yard plus par three. I duffed a five wood off the tee and was just short of the left bunker green side bunker and in the rough. I duffed my lob wedge to the very difficult pin placement behind the bunker and left my second in the bunker. On in three and then three putts. Oh well.

Aside from that my putting was amazing and I had several one putt greens. Ball striking was good but I can do better and am determined to continue to improve.
