I found this out for myself when I compared the loft angle specs from my old irons to those of my 1 Irons and other brands. The marketing crap of the other golf companies in touting extra distance when all they're doing is changing the engraved #6 on an iron to a #7 infuriates me. I play your 1 Irons because they improved my game tremendously and because you don't play these marketing tricks. What you state is what you get. Thanks!!

Hi David

Here in Australia we have a company called Carnegie Clark who make irons with a 4 degree gap between each club. I think they are the the only company apart from 1iron who do this.
I have a 7 fairway that is 19 degrees and a 9 fairway wood that is 20.5 degrees. Yet other models from the same company have 7 and 9 woods that have different lofts.

Recently I bought a 7 wood of the same model as the fairway woods that I have because I was having trouble hitting my 3 iron in my set. I found I could hit it as far as my 5 wood. I went to the company website and found out that the 7 wood was only 1 degree difference. The 9 wood in the set is only 1.5 degrees difference from the 7 wood. It should be regulated in some way as we have no standard. We have a situation where 3 woods can be 14, 15 or 16 degrees, 7 woods that are 19 up to 24 degrees and 9 woods that are 20.5 degrees up to 26 degrees. Leaves the consumer baffled.
