K.W.,

We only offer our irons as sets.

I believe that the problem you encountered with the low and high lofted irons is the result of your mind-set. A set of 1 Irons does not contain any "long" or "short" irons. The only difference between our #3 iron and LW is the loft angle of the clubface - period. However, when you start to equate our irons with conventional irons (ie: long irons and short irons) you create a mind-set that unconsciously prevents you from playing all of the irons using the exact same address position, ball position, posture, swing, and swing plane. In other words, you will be unconsciously using a conventional "long" iron set-up and swing with our #3 iron when, in fact, it should not differ from that used with the "mid" irons. To put it simply, if you hit our #8 or #9 iron well then you have to be able to hit our #3 iron and wedges just as well since they are identical clubs.

This is the mental aspect of switching from conventional irons to single-length irons that is very hard for some golfers to overcome initially. However, by going to the range and taking only your #3 iron (which forces you to get past your ingrained "long" iron swing habits) you will soon replace your ingrained swing thoughts with your new and correct one. The same applies to the wedges if this is where you are having trouble.
