Subject: First week experience old high handicapper

Got my new clubs on Tuesday, hit a bucket of balls that afternoon with my three iron. every thing was short. Knew I had to play golf on Thursday for my sons birthday. Practiced in the backyard net Wednesday morning and hit balls at the driving range that afternoon, everything about 40 yards short.
Played 9 holes on Thursday and very satisfied with my Irons, my 3 iron length jumped out to about 180 yards. did have some trouble with my sand and lob wedge, but that just needs practice. I only used my irons and a putter. Left my woods and driver at home. This the best set of irons I've ever owned. They play great.
