Subject: 1st golf round with my 1 irons

Hi all,

Today, i played my first round with 1 irons.
it was not a typical round, as i thought a short course was reserved, my warming time was consumed in solving the situation and, also the wind was horrible (20kts)

So i was on the 1st, with no woods (i was supposed to play a pitch& put) without hitting any ball...

I played the 3 iron in every long shot (from tee and fairway) and keep the ball in the fairway 90% of the times (for me, it was like if it is a different game!)

The level of confidence that i found, just removing insecurities due to changing clubs was AMAZING

I played every club (before 1irons, i have NEVER used a 3 or 4 iron

I played the worse putting in the last years, due to wind and eventhough i made my handicap (29) (although i normally play less)

Given the circunstances, i am sure i can drop 9 strokes in 9 holes.

To sum up, i still need to dial in into the 1 irons (distances etc...) but i am very very happy about my new clubs.

Tomorrow i will be buying the rest of the clubs!!!
