Subject: iron clubs

I was a bit hesitant to purchase the clubs unseen but believed in the concept as even before finding the website for the clubs thought one length clubs made sense.
After purchasing the clubs and having a wack at the range I found that after a couple of trips to the range my swing had changed and become more consistent resulting in hitting the ball with a greater accuracy than before.
In regards to distance and distance between clubs I found I was hitting the ball further and where I wanted the ball to go. I was hitting an 8 iron about 150m whereas I used to hit an 8 iron around 135 -140m, the range in distance between clubs is the same but a I hit each club further now, this was one of my concerns that I there wouldnt be enough distance variance between clubs but I found that it is the same as conventional clubs. The biggest improvement I found was longer irons I now hit a 3 iron between 190-200m with accuracy at the target.
The woods are the same I am hitting the 3 wood about 220m and the driver about 280m.

It is so simple to produce a consistent accurate golf shot with the desired distance aas it is one swing one ball position over and over again so no need to clutter the mind with anything other than where you want to hit the ball it is simplified stress free golf with great results.

I wish I had a set of these clubs years ago they are a revolution to my golf game, every time I use them they feel better and better and better I cannot be more satisfied with every aspect of the clubs - the look/the feel/the grips/the weight and how easy it is to strike the ball and acheive the best results regarding distance and accuracy. As recommendended I didnt have a round of golf until I got used to the clubs and the difference on the course was amazing. I used to hit the ball a fair way but had no accuracy and ended up under trees/other fairways off the tee and struggled to post a good score. With these clubs I now hit it further but with accuracy resulting in shaving huge nubers off my scores.
Thanks 1 iron golf,as the saying goes golf ruins a good walk well I could attest to that frustration but now I attest to golf makes a good walk even better.

Congrats on your game, I am probably the only one here who has played every single one of Davids designs, from the original maltby heads to the rest of the models.

yes they work well, you will find that when you have a long time in between playing that it only takes one or two trips to the range and you are off playing.

I play less and less ever year, work house just too much stuff to do, I almost always get comments like you must play allot? I chuckle and tell them how much I play if I am lucky. Then at the end of the round I show them my 1irons.

They do however notice the driver is shorter than usual I tell them its a 3 wood as not to rise suspision. Then I eventually tell them if they ask. You will also have less than great rounds, but you will find that your not so great rounds with 1irons where your best rounds with the standard OE stuff.
