Subject: Got My third set of 1irons

Hello all 1iron players, I got my third set of 1irons this weekend, So I have been playing 1irons since David first came out with his first design.

A few months ago The airlines lost my baggage and yes my 1iron clubs. Well in the interum I had no choice but to play my OE irons which were in the basement, I use them for friends who may come over.

Well I played yesterday and felt lke I did not miss a beat. after a short range session, It clicked with 20 balls. Off to play and accurate as always. The new part for me was the 1iron driver, I had used the smaller head driver David offered years ago, The new one is just as playable with a nice Piercing ball trajectory.

Dont let the 12o fool you, you wont be hitting it like a 7 wood. The loft and length it what allows you to get the correct trajectory. Center center center stance, trust it it will work. I hooked up with a few guys and all of them sporting their nice expensive taylormade and callaway drivers. Then little old me with my short driver down the middle 245-260 I can carry only 250 at my best but the correct trajectory and role give you the optimum results for me.

I was driving the other two guys crazy becaues they killed the ball just not on the course, finaly one of them gave in and asked me about my driver? he asked to try it. and holly molly he killed it 285 down the middle, them the other guy got into the act he tried it bam down the middle with a power faid about 270, both out drove me by at least 30 yards, They were stunned, after the round we sat down got some drinks and I explained to them the idea and about the irons. They couldnt believe how the industry has lied to so many players for so many years.

Just as a note I use to work at a major golf shop, I could not push the junk they wanted me to anymore. so I left and am enjoying golf ever since.

I am older now at 45 and dont hit it as far as I used to, But my accuracy and common sense play make me competative even after a lay off.

If you are on the edge, just try it you have a 30 gurantee you cant go wrong, just follow the playability tips and just dont go rushing to the course.
