NOVA Hybrid Irons are designed to be played using a sweeping swing as you would with a conventional fairway wood or hybrid wood. When using a sweeping swing the club length and lie angle are not particularly important since you are barely brushing the turf with the sole of the club. Also, the soles of the NOVA Hybrids are well rounded from heel to toe to accommodate virtually any fairway lie as well as size of the golfer.

Iron play (as with the 1 Irons) is much different since you hit down and through the ball making full ground contact. When you make full ground contact the lie angle and associated club length (based upon your W-T-F measurement) needs to be precisely fitted.
