Subject: Love my 1-Irons

I purchased a Used-Demo set of irons (#3 through LW) about three months ago. They looked almost brand new when I unpacked them. I was kind of hesitant about the fitting process but as soon as I picked them up all I could think of what that they just felt right. Great balance and they put me into an upright swing posture that just felt natural to me. Within one week I was hitting the ball farther (due to my new natural feeling posture) and the ball striking consistency is stunning - I very rarely miss-hit a shot even with my #3 iron which I could never hit consistently before. All in all these are, by far, the best clubs I have ever played.

I tried to describe how my 1-Irons felt when I first got them and you hit the nail right on the head - they just feel right. Club length, clubhead lie, weight, flex, everything - they just feel right. I wasn't used to the upright posture these irons put me into but once I tried it I was amazed how natural it felt, like I had been searching for this position ever since I took up golf. They put me into the position that my body just naturally wants to be in to swing a golf club with power and control.

How old are you, what is your swing speed and what is your handicap. Any physical problems? I am considering ordering a set or irons and I'm looking for someone near my age (66) to compare notes with. I'd appreciate any advice.

I am 69 years old, have a 12 handicap and a strong swing. I would recommend the 1-Irons to anyone regardless of their handicap.
