Steve: I posted some input on the 1-Iron driver a few years back, but here is the latest update. It is one of the best drivers out there today! I've played it for about 4 years and simply love it. Several of my students also play it and they would all concur it is a GREAT driver! It has a smaller head and is much easier to square up at impact than those 460cc drivers being pushed on unsuspecting golfers these days. The 12* loft is extremely forgiving, and it is very easy to hit consistently because of the shorter shaft. It doesn't have that "tin-can" sound at ball impact either! I've played a LOT of drivers over the years, and tried the new "gimmicks" that pop up each year. I've never, ever found a driver that can do what the 1-Iron driver does. Period! I highly recommend this driver to anyone looking to improve their golf game. As always, hit 'em straight! R2

Thanks for all the responses to my post concerning the 1 Iron Titanium Driver. I have been hitting it at the local range during the winter here on Long Island, and have to agree that it is the best driver I have ever had, and this w/o having used it on a course! I cut my former driver down by 2", re-gripped it with the 1 Iron grip used on their clubs, and compared it to the 1 Iron driver. No comparison! The 1 Iron was MUCH easier to square up and had the same or better distance overall. The face on the larger head of my old driver felt "hard" and "slippery" (if that makes sense) whereas the 1 Iron driver seemed to hold the ball longer on the face (a softer feel). I agree with Roy Reed----the I Iron Titanium Driver is a great club. Again, thanks for all the help.
