The only differences between the Pro-Line and standard 1-Irons are that the Pro-Line clubheads weigh 265gm as opposed to the 1-Irons at 273gm, the Pro-lines have a slightly reduced bounce angle, and they have a stiffer shaft tip section. The Pro-Line grooves are USGA conforming while the 1-Irons have the old style grooves (pre-2011). This only makes a difference if you are planning to play in the US Open or on the PGA tour.

Not only do we have many Pro-Line customers in the low handicap range, we also have many seniors who love them.

I am 65 years old and certainly do not have a "pro's" swing speed. I've been playing the Pro-Line for two months after playing the standard 1-Irons for the past ten years. I find the Pro-Line to be an excellent upgrade to the 1-Irons and I play them very well indeed - handicap +2.
