Subject: Special Order on Used Pro Irons

My measurement from the floor is 43 3/4" (I am 6' 9"). I was looking at your used set of Pro Irons but there is no Special Order for these (there is for everything else). First, am I too tall for these and, second, is it possible to special order these? Thanks.

Used/Demo sets only include the club lengths based upon our standard W-T-F measurements. Special Orders are only available as new sets.

The longest iron length that we offer in the Used/Demo sets is 39" (typical #3 iron). At your W-T-F measurement your irons would be 41" in club length. You could certainly order a Used/Demo set and then have shaft-butt extensions installed at your local pro-shop.

Thank you for your reply. Just how different is the regular set from the pro-line. I know your website says the tolerances in the pro-line are closer. I am a 6 handicap struggling to get back to a 3, but age is catching up.

The clubhead design of our standard 1 Irons and our Pro-Line is exactly the same with the same high level of playability. The specifications/tolerances of the Pro-Line are tighter and the face and sole grind are more precise. Also, the Pro-Line clubheads are lighter in weight than the 1 Irons for increased swing speed and the shafts have a stiffer tip section for increased stability through impact and tighter shot dispersion. The Pro-Line is a definite upgrade to our standard 1 Irons. You can find detailed information on the Irons page of our website.
